In this article, you will find instructions on how to setup your Multi Factor Authentication App. This is required for all Spring Hill College Employees.

If you are a new employee, skip to the setup video in Step 3.

If you are an existing employee experiencing an issue, begin at Step 1.



Step 1: Are you able to access your account?

  • If you see this image, your account may not have your Authentication App setup properly.  

  • Send a support ticket to https://www.shc.edu/it/submit to get a 2 week MFA exemption as well as the 8-Digit backup codes you will need to unlock your device.
  • Remember to include a secondary method of contact such as a personal email in order to be able to receive the codes to unlock your SHC email.

Step 2: Unlocking your account

  • To unlock your account, take the 8-Digit backup codes and enter them into your device. These codes are single use.
